Distribution is the shipping product from manufacturer to customer with the vehicle. The distribution takes the optimal decision for the company to minimize transportation costs and minimize vehicle exhaust emissions. Like PT Putra We are a company engaged in the distribution of LPG 3 kg which is in Banyuwangi, East Java. The problem faced by the company is sometimes not able to empty LPG transported by truck back so the truck had to return to take the empty LPG distance increases so long that causes additional fuel costs and vehicle emissions. This study aims to determine the route by considering the number of delivered goods and the amount of goods transported from the base by using heuristic insertion method. Settlement is done by following two phases which phase formation and insertion of the pick-up. By using these methods obtained a decrease in fuel costs amounted to 17.395% / week and decrease the CO2 vehicle emissions by 23.332% / week.
