  • This study was conducted to answer the research questions posed: 1) How to design the model of cooperative learning with STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions) arithmetic operations on integers material class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Malang; 2) How do students' response to the learning activities that has been done; 3) How do students' learning outcomes using the model of cooperative learning STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions). Explained the research objectives: 1) to design a model of cooperative learning device with STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions) arithmetic operations on integers material class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Malang; 2) Creating learning to get a positive response, were well received,and fun for the learners; 3) Through the presentation made device is expected to produce good learning results. The study was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Malang, using qualitative descriptive approach and type of research development. Shaped the development of instructional lesson plans, LKPD, Instructional Materials Borg and Gall method with several major steps: (1) Analyzing the product to be developed, (2) Develop initial product, (3) Validation expert and revision; (4) Trial field and the final product The results showed the validation of prior learning gained revision total average score of 2.42 the validity of the study valid or not and after a revised gain score of 3.53 that has been said to be valid. The percentage of learners responses to mathematics learning activities by 82% which is a very good criterion. While the learning outcomes of the first meeting of completeness achieved 82%, at the second meeting which achieved 70% completeness, and at the third meeting which achieved 64% completeness.
