- This study want to investigated: (1) Students activities in the application of the Learning Cycle (LC) phase 5 model and Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy, (2) Mathematical communication skills of students with math learning Learning Cycle (LC) phase 5 model and Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy in material form algebraic operation, (3) Mathematical problem-solving ability of students with learning Learning Cycle (LC) phase 5 model and Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy in the material form of algebraic operations This study uses qualitative and quantitative approachers by using descriptive research. The data are taken from the teachers and students activities and also students test result that showed the communication’s ability and students mathematical problem solving. while the source of the data in this study are 7A grade students and teachers who teach mathematics in SMP PGRI 1 Pakisaji. The research object are 7A grade students amounting to 24 students and mathematics teacher in SMP PGRI 1 Pakisaji, and the teacher is the researcher herself. The results are (1) students' learning activities using the model of Learning Cycle (LC) phase 5 and Strategies Think Talk Write (TTW) in the material form of algebraic operations has increased both at each meeting. Average score of students' learning activities by category by 83.53% good, (2) communication ability of students to use mathematical models Learning Cycle (LC) phase 5 and Strategies Think Talk Write (TTW) in the material form of algebraic operations increased good. Average score - average communication skills math students at 78.07% with a good category, (3) mathematical problem-solving ability of students to use the model of Learning Cycle (LC) phase 5 and Strategies Think Talk Write (TTW) in the material form of algebraic operations experience good improvement. Average score - the average math problem-solving skills of students by 71.06% with both categories
