- CV. Damai Jaya or Convection OneWay located in the area of kol. Sugiono street 7/19, District Kedungkandang, Malang and an industrial home company founded by Mr. Samsul Hudha in 1994. OneWay convection often occurs the accumulation of intermediate goods at each station are waiting for the next process, this is because each work station Cycle Time difference so far. From this it can be seen that the production line at the convection OneWay less balanced. The purpose of this study was to determine the equilibrium trajectory planning of production alternatives in order to improve productivity and provide suggestions for improvement to the company. Data was collected through direct observation to production sites. The results of the data collection and then do the test data and test the adequacy of the uniformity of data for all process operations. The next step is to calculate the normal time and then proceed to calculate the standard time for each process operation. Results of calculation of standard time it will be a time in the planning process of each operation balancing. Calculations using Position Weight Rank is done by weighting of process 1 to the last, then be ranked from smallest to largest. The results of the ranking that will be used for process grouping operations into a work station. Calculations using the Region Aprroach depending on region division based operations that precede and follow the precedence diagram. The results from both methods will be compared to find a balanced and effective path. From the results of calculation using the Region Approach (RA) and Rank Position Weight (RPW) is already done then the optimum solution is obtained using the method Region Approach (RA) with a cycle time of 1568 seconds, the idle time greatest time 1353.91 sec, efficiency by 71%, balance delay by 29% and the output produced in one production shift by 16 units or 32 units a day costume. In this case the researchers propose using the Region Approach (RA) with 1568 seconds cycle time due to breakdown more systematically in accordance with the order of the production process while utilizing the method of Rank Position Weight (RPW) the efficiency higher.
