- Diabetes mellitus, also known as blood sugar disease is a chronic disease group characterized by elevated levels of sugar in the blood due to a disruption in the body's metabolic system. Diabetes mellitus can be caused by heredity or excessive sugar consumption Fuzzy logic is used to overcome the weakness of the rule-based system, because it is able to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty of the various variables used. A fuzzy logic method is used to map the problems of input leading to the expected output. Java as a programming language in which a program will be run by different types of computers with a variety of operating systems, it improves a lot of programmers to develop and create a java application that can help daily needs of people. The benefit of science and technology advances in information technology is very useful in determining the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus, such as making a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus systems using fuzzy logic running on a Java application.
