- Learning media in teaching process has several benefit such as learning media could clarify message and information presentation thus it would be able to smoother and facilitated teaching process and improve learning results, learning media could also improve and directing child attention thus it could grow bigger interest to study or to motivate learning. Macromedia captivate is one of the software that supports learning media development in the form of drill and practice. Objectives of this study would be: (1) Designing mathematic game as learning media with attractive appearance and taking interest of the students; (2) Creating learning media which obtain positive response, acceptable, and fun for students; (3) Through mathematical game, it is expected that it could motivated students in learning mathematics by trying to solve existing problems within the game. Study was conducted in Homeschooling Community Camp Sekolah Dolan Malang, using qualitative descriptive approach and it is a development study in nature. Learning media development in the form of mathematics game was using Borg and Gall method with several main steps: (1) Conducting product analysis being developed; (2) Developing initial product; (3) Expert validation and revision; (4) Field test and final product. Result of this study showed that mathematical game validation before revision was obtaining average media validity total score (Va media) 2,916 or not valid and after being revised it obtain Va media 3,475 thus could be said valid. Student’s response percentage over this mathematics game is 77,77% and classified into good category. Student’s motivation percentage to finish mathematics problem-solving practice in mathematics game is 85,71% and classified as very good.
