- Embroidery industry of Sumberpasir Pakis is one of the leading small industries in the district of Malang. In the process, businesses have difficulty competing with competitors. This is due to increasingly open competition with domestic products and imported products. In addition, businesses have less entrepreneurial spirit in business and an important advance in thecompetition is the ability to identify external and internal factors have not been implemented properly and effectively. To answer the above problems is the need to know the external and internal factors embroidery industry of Sumberpasir Pakis. In addition, formulating a strategy and determine which strategies will be a priority for the business is a follow-up of the identification was done as an effort to create a competitive strategy in developing the embroidery industry of Sumberpasir Pakis The results obtained that the matrix is known EFE and IFE total weighted score of 3,03 for external and internal weight of the total score of 2,35 and a SWOT analysis on the known position of the industry is positioning strategy W-O (weaknesses-opportunities), so it was decided that in the matrix QSPM strategy that prioritized work plan is a company with the highest total attractiveness score that is equal to 3,083.
