- Inside Outside Circle (IOC) is a method of learning that require every students to participate actively at process of learning. inside outside circle give the chance to every student to sharing information at same time so as students expected to can develop activities, communication, and teamwork. Inside outside circle at first had found by Spencer Kagan at 1990. This research has the objective to: (1) describe the application of the models cooperative learning inside outside circle (IOC) at learning mathematics in State Junior High School Satu Atap Merjosari, (2) knowing student’s learning activities at learning mathematics by use the models cooperative learning inside outside circle, (3) knowing result of learning at learning mathematics by use the models cooperative learning inside outside circle. The approach used is qualitative approach and the type of this research is descriptive. This research was conducted in State Junior High School Satu Atap Merjosari at July 14th 2012 until 4 th August 2012. The models cooperative learning inside outside circle was started from group dividing where every group study about the different topic and then students form inside outside circle and every pairs student give the information. Based on this research, had got date of average studentÂ’s activities at first meeting is 68,94% and second meeting is 82,59%. And then is the result of learning where learning exhaustiveness classically is 65%.
