Adi Jaya is a company that manufactures industrial organic fertilizer (petrorganik) which handles the distribution of fertilizer to 22 Stock Point. In the process of distribution of fertilizer, there is a proper distribution system to regulate the assignment of vehicles and shipping routes, so that the longer total travel time and transportation cost increases. so we need to plan the research with the aim of re-routing and assignment of vehicles which must pass each vehicle to lower distribution costs. To resolve this problem, use the Generalized Assignment method, where this method will provide the perfect solution because this method considering vehicle capacity, distance delivery in the process of distributing goods, and vehicles assigned to the stock points by using linear and integer programming, and for planning a route by way of sorting customers in one route nearest insertion method . From the results of data processing obtained a more optimal route planning with distribution cost savings of Rp. 2,105,700 or 26% in each shipment.
