In this thesis are outlined on the design and manufacture of tools to monitor the position and secure the vehicle we have. In this design, the system uses GPS module as a determinant of the location based on the satellite. Meanwhile mode SMS sending is done using a Wavecomm modem. Thus mikrokontroller need 2 serial interrupt handling unit the GPS module and the modem. On initial conditions when initialization is performed, the system performs the reading of SMS and contacts, detector checking then conducted a reading of the location of the coordinates of the Earth based on data retrieved from the GPS. The next process the data stored in the memory. While there are indications of active contacts on the vehicle detector, then the system will send you coordinates and location alert via text message to the destination number (the number of owners of vehicles) that have been set previously by SMS. Thus, in case of theft, then the user can identify the vehicle's condition directly and the position of the vehicle.
