  • This research aims are: 1). To describes the implementation of learning mathematics through SAVI approach. 2) To know the student learning outcomes through SAVI approach. subject of this study was a class VIII student in the MTs Sirajul Huda of 20 students. Thus, the type of research used in this research is a descriptive type. The research approach used is a qualitative approach. The data taken in this research were exercising their approach to learning through the application of SAVI and student learning outcomes through SAVI approach given by the test conducted at the end of the meeting on the material is tangent circles inside and outside. Observation sheet obtained from observations during the learning takes place, while the source data of this research in the class VIII student in MTs Sirajul Huda of Panyaksagan village Kecamatan.Klampis. The research was held on February 24, 2011 until on March 10, 2011. Activities on the implementation of learning mathematics with SAVI approach through three phases, namely the initial activities that include appreciation and provide motivation to study, covering the core activities of learning by using learning methods with a fourth element of SAVI, the discuss in groups, and the final activity is reflect the activities, and evaluation. Based on the results of research to student learning outcomes of the classical result obtained is 80%. Percentage of teachers in activity during the three meetings get 92,9%. The percentage of the activity of student during the three meetings obtained 86,7%. So according to the criteria already set in Chapter III on page 22 in the class VII student in MTs Sirajul Huda Klampis of Bangkalan can be success.
