  • Micro hydro power plant ( PLTMH ) is a power plant that utilizes the flow of river water as a force to drive the turbines. For the implementation of the PLTMH is a positive effort to reduce the rate of global climate change is an important issue at this time . Rapid pipe or penstock which is an important part of the PLTMH to help drive the turbine. Penstock is a pipe that is connected to places with low elevation angles, where the turbine is located. And penstock Itself serves to drain the water before entering the turbine. This modeling was made to determine the parameters of the penstock. For the characteristics of the penstock itself is a characteristic that has similarities with the turbine . With the determination of the parameters and mathematical models that already exist then we can create a model simulation with matlab simulink. Simulation models that start with input from the discharge of water with a torque output , the simulation output using 2 different outputs . At a signal output which has the result that the infinite , and to output a signal having a constant value results.
