Economic growth in developing countries like Indonesia is a long-term economic problems and is influenced by various factors. Using Ordinary Least square Studies show that labor and investment affect the Gross Regional Domestic Production (GDP) of East Java in 2009. Therefore this study aims to determine the effect of labor, and investment to the GDP of East Java. In a study shows the fact that East Java has the highest GDP in the island of Java so interesting to learn Calculations using the program SPSS showed that labor, and investment as the independent variable has a value of 38% significance in influencing the GDP, whereas the test statistic using the F test statistic of 10.895. The next level of statistical significance using t test with consecutive values for is employment the most significant 4.102 continued investment in 1.417 Finally, with productive workforce that increasingly will be able to increase the productivity impact on increasing GDP. With the increase in GDP this means that economic growth is increasing. To increase the GDP of East Java, other than through improving the number of qualified workforce, also need policies that encourage interest in investing in the region, for example by providing easiness in business licensing and procurement of capital.
