  • The world of robotic is currently growing rapidly along with the progress of science and technology in both developed and developing countries. Evidently every year the Directorate General of Higher Education (Higher Education) held Indonesia Intelligent Robot Contest (KRCI) inside and develop science and technology from theoretical ideas into real work application and hone students' creative arts in the world of robots. The one category of robots that competed is fire extinguisher wheeled robot with a mission to locate and extinguish the candle of four rooms located on the arena. In carrying out its mission robot uses two DC motors as the prime mover VEXTA AXH230K and equipped robot SRF05 sensors to prevent collisions on the wall. To detect heat and fire point, the robot is equipped with sensors and TPA81 UVTron. All parts of the robot from the prime mover to support sensors to extinguish the fire is controlled by a microcontroller AVR ATMega 16 (master) and ATMega 16 (slave) who communicated serially.
