- Solar Power Plant (SPP) is one alternative energy source that has a good efficiency value and can be used anywhere as long as there is sunlight. Electrical energy in a solar cell produces direct current electricity (DC) is erratic and is still not stable, this is because the main source for generating electrical energy in a solar cell cannot be constant, according to the intensity of the sun's visible light and time. Designing DC converter using push-pull method aims to increase the DC voltage generated Solar Cell. PWM control system (Push width Modulation) on this design using Microcontroller ATmega16 leading support 2x16 LCD Display as a monitor and is equipped 4 pieces push button for setting. The result of raising the voltage by Push-Pull Converter is still not stable, so in need of additional regulator circuit as a voltage stabilizer. IC 7824 used to get a steady voltage of 24 VDC. In this design Push-pull converter boost solar cell that produced by 18 VDC to 36 VDC and is the result of an increase of tension in stabilizing the voltage to 24 VDC.
