  • According to informal observation and interview done by the researcher in SMP Raden Fatah Junior High School of Batu, there found that students had difficulties in learning about block elements. According to student?s point of view, seeing picture as space picture is not an easy thing, so it made them difficult in understanding elements from the space itself. Beside, the students less active and learning process, which caused students failed in finishing the task given. One of the learning model which is able to help students understanding block elements is by application of cooperative script learning equipped with lab-mini. Research done in SMP Raden Fatah Junior High School of Batu with subjects students of grade VIII-B consisted of 32 students. The research aimed to describe application of cooperative script learning equipped with lab mini through observation to teacher and student?s activities. Beside, to find out the result of students? learning after test. Approach used in this tudy was qualitative approach, while the research kind was descriptive research. The research was done on May 9th 2011 - May 21st 2011 four meetings and three meetings of learning process and one meeting for test. Data collection technique by using observation, field report documentation, and test. According to analysis result of teacher and students? activity in application of cooperative script learning model equipped with lab-mini, teacher?s activity categorized very good with percentage reached 76,78% and students? percentage was very good with percentage reached 76,97%. From test result done, there stated that students had reached completeness since study completeness reached more than 75%, students? completeness reached 80,77%, while the incomplete reached 19.23%
