  • This research done to know process of cooperative think pair share learning through problem solving that shown by teacher?s and student?s activities. On the other hand, to determine result of studying and the obstacles found in cooperative think pair share learning through problem solving approach in around number material. This study is categorized the descriptive-qualitative research. The object of the research is student of SMP PGRI 01 Dau grade VII. The collection of the data uses observation sheets, paper test, and questionnaires. The observation sheet is filled for three times meeting, the test is given once only after the material of around number delivery, and the questionnaires are given to all students after following the cooperative think pair share learning through problem solving approach. Result of research by the cooperative think pair share learning through problem solving in integers show that learning by teacher and student well. It?s shown that teacher?s activities reach 80.20% and student activity reach 74, 27%. It?s mean good criteria. The results study of students after following cooperative think pair share learning through problem solving approach by using school completeness standard at SMP PGRI 01 Dau had completed classically, that is 75% of the students. Mean while the data of the result of students study that used national standards, it is still not completeness classically yet. That is 70% of students. The obstacles of students in the cooperative think pair share learning through problem solving approach were majority of them were not brave to propose the opinion by highest percentage of 80%.
