- Jembatan Kembar Samarinda is a new bridge the is located next to the bridge Mahakam I, where it planned with a length 400 m, width 20 m and has a total of 2 pillars and 2 pylons at the main bridge. Judging from the long span cable stayed bridge type selected. In planning the pillar structure should be taken into account against the axial, force, lateral moment and shear that will affect the dimensions of the pillars and reinforcement is needed. Planned foundation will also calculated its dimensions and reinforcement. Pillar structure should be planned in order to be a able to withstand axial, lateral moment and shear. Pillars in the design with two pillars form coloumns with stiffeners, to adjust the height of the pillar height elevation plans on a bridge structure in order to get high pillar 1 = 40 m and pillar 2 = 39.60 m. The calculation of loading on the pillars will use the Standard Charging For Bridge: RSNI T-02-2005 which will load calculation results obtained force acting on the pillar, the force that will affect the dimensions and amount of reinforcement to be used. From the calculation result obtained steel pillar pier head ̃25 for flexural and ̃10 for shear reinforcement, while the column reinforcement ̃32 for flexural and ̃6 for shear reinforcement. At the foundation structure used ̃22 for flexural reinforcement and à ̃14 for shear reinforcement.
