- With the residual waste industry sought to be utilized rather than environmental vandal. PT. Molindo Raya Industrial is located at Sumber Waras street 255 Lawang using burning coal as a raw material for the production process, and produce an average of 11 tons per day of coal waste in the form of coal combustion waste. Processing of coal combustion waste as a substitute for fine aggregate in the concrete mix in the form of cylindrical specimen of 15 cm diameter and 30 cm high with a fine aggregate replacement with coal combustion waste and create variations in the presentation as much as 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% of the weight of the sand is planned, each specimen 6 so total of 36 pieces of the specimen. If the mixture of coal combustion waste applied to concrete, is expected to get a good result against specific gravity, absorption, compressive strength, and modulus of elasticity of concrete. The test result show that the need for the addition of 0.5 liters of water for each percentage increase in the replacement of sand to coal combustion waste and the greater cause replacement of sand with coal combustion waste, the greater the value of water-cement ratio. Concrete specimen at 28 days increased absorption values for each percentage increase in the replacement of sand with coal combustion waste and decreasing the value of density, compressive strength, and modulus of elasticity of concrete at each increase in the percentage replacement of sand with coal combustion waste.
