In the cable stay bridge type fan that has become a favorite type of geometric efficiency and good bridge adjustment .
This thesis explores the design of the structure above Twin Bridges Samarinda , which connects the city Samarinda and Samarinda Seberang . As a solution to facilitate the flow of traffic on roads inland city Samarinda - Samarinda Seberang and also to reduce congestion on the bridge Mahakam 1 . The bridge has a total span of 400 m is divided into two spans of 80 m each and one along the central span of 240 m and is above the Mahakam River . Planning floor steel box girder bridge wear ( orthotropic ) with 2 m high , 20 m long and 20 m wide , which is divided into 21 segments . Type of planning wired cable used is the type of Cable Stayed Fan ( VSL 7 - Wire Strand ) , the pylon shape Diamond . Total height of the pylon ( reinforced concrete ) 116 m from the river water level . Perletaklan used is Mobile Spherical Bearings. Planning is assisted by using Staad Pro V8i computer program to analyze the overall behavior of the main structure . The result of this planning is obtained dimensional box girder structures , cables and anchors, pylon and placement by using a reference RSNI regulatory T - 02-2005 , RSNI T - 03-2005 , Pd T -04 -2004- B , Pd T - 12-2005 - B , BMS '92 and SNI 03-2847-2002 .
