  • Traffic congestion caused by traffic volume roads is nearing capacity, dimna level of service can be seen from the value of the degree of saturation, DS = Q / C. Ideally, the value of Q / C ≤ 0.75. From the author's observation, in the city already poor traffic jams occur frequently, especially at peak hours on certain streets. One reason is the growth of high vehicle not balanced by road infrastructure. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the performance of Soekarno Hatta road due to the operation of the apartment Soekarno Hatta town of Malang. Street Performance is calculated based on primary data and secondary data with guidelines MKJI 1997. Analysis carried out starting from the existing conditions, further analysis of 5 years to come. Results in getting roads to the performance of the existing condition known performance at Soekarno-Hatta road south direction at peak hours DS = 0.72 with road capacity 3116 pcu/h, in the next 5 years due to the increasing DS value operasioanal apartment DS = 0, 85. At Soekarno Hatta road north at peak hours DS = 0.61 with road capacity 3216 pcu/h, in the next 5 years the value of DS = 0.67. Recommendations can be given in this study is needed Malang Government policy for future overcome the problems arising from the development of land use in the area of Soekarno Hatta road.
