- This research intends for: describing learning process that happens, describing mathematics problem solving, describing students learned result. This observational type is utilize qualitative approaching with observational type gets descriptive qualitative character. The object in observational it is student braze VII-A. SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Batu on compare material. Data collecting which is utilize activity observation sheet learns student and test. Result observation to point out that percentage activity learns on meet I, II, and III overall average as 79,54%. Meanwhile student activity up to thrice meet up to rat rolled out as 76,04% by good criterion. Mathematics problem solving strategies to a capable adequate students be put across according to mathematics solving problem stages, meanwhile with a fault adequate student be its problem strategy is still less since imprecise problem grasp.
