- Public transport passenger lines Karang Ploso-Kota Batu through highway Giripurno operation serving passengers from Karang Ploso station to Kota Batu station through Giripurno highway. Rates are a major factor in the management of revenue earning public transport passengers. Where the Vehicle Operating Costs component can indirectly affect tersebur rates. This study aims to determine the Vehicle Operating Costs of public transport passenger lines Karang Ploso–Kota Batu and to determine the rates in accordance with the Vehicle Operating Costs current. Current evaluation vehicle operating costs include direct costs and indirect costs. From the results of the study in the know that the operating costs public passenger transport vehicles in the lane Karang Ploso–Kota Batu is Rp.49.634.524/kend/thn or Rp.1.084, 59/kend/km. The amount of the new rate is obtained for the general passenger Rp.2.000, -/pnp/rit, while the rate for passenger Rp.1.200 students, -/pnp/rit.
