  • In the planning of long-span suspension bridge for pedestrians, need to be considered against the rigidity of the bridge. Because, the stiffness of the bridge will increase safety and comfort on the bridge. In the planning of the bridge "Elppa Bridge" (KJI, 2010 in Jakarta), the stiffness and strength of the cable bridge is affecting to the amount of deflection. And the planning of this study with the model of the bridge will be built with real scale with a length of 120 meters and a width of 3 meters. From the results obtained that the plan extends the girder profile 100.100.6.8 WF, WF 125.125.6,5.9 transverse girder, the main cable diameter of 80 mm and 14 mm diameter steel hanger. Rod-style hit at a maximum of 3102 kg and a maximum tensile strength of 4038 kg. And happened to deflection at quarter span bridge deck is 4 mm.
