- Water required increase in line with growth of population and expanding it other facilities, which require clean water in a town of either of facet of, is quality of and also from quantity facet. For that, company of drinking water area (PDAM) Town of Banjarmasin conduct various effort for example exploiting untapped river water or develop clean water network or source which have exist before. Supplying system development of clean water conducted by adding capacities produce equal to 500 lt/sec by taking standard water of river of Tabuk, and development of distribution pipe network so that water can be channeled flattened to service area so that can improve service 100% from amount of resident. For the mentioned, require to be performed by evaluation to production capacities, amount of resident to serve, and also distribution pipe network, which have, exist before so that service can be improved. By adding capacities produce equal to 500lt/sec, PDAM Bandarmasih of Banjarmasin city can serve resident until year 2011, with debit to 2006 lt/sec.
