  • About 60-70% of the volume of waste in Indonesia houses is organic waste. The biggest contribution of waste comes from the traditional market that most (95%) of organics waste. The problem of waste can be reduced if treatment begins from house to make organic fertilizer such as liquid organic fertilizer. The objective of this research is to determine the nutrition found in the liquid organic fertilizer produced and evaluate the effectiveness of concentration and frequency of liquid organic fertilizer to plants Chinese cabbage (pakcoy). The study was took place at the Experimental Green House FPP UMM, since July to September 2013. The elevation of place ± 550 m above sea level. The results was showed that the liquid organic waste before and after a change in the levels of fermentable nutrient content. The highest nutrient content of organic material was 9.23% in the first phase and 7.99% in second stage. While its low nutrient phosphorus (P) and calcium (Ca). The result of liquid color was light brown, pH 4.0, temperature 24oC, and the smell is not overpowering. There is no interaction between concentration and frequency of liquid organic fertilizer at variable plant height, leaf number, leaf area, and plant dry weight. However, there was an interaction between concentration and frequency of the variable wet weight of plants without roots. Concentration of 35 ml/1 of water and frequency of 3 days (K3F3) was the best treatment.
