  • The soybean was an important crop because of its role as a source of vegetable protein and can also be used as an industrial raw material. In Indonesia soybean resulted were still low, so that the necessary imports each year were large enough to met the needs of national consumption. One agricultural innovations that can be applied to overcome these obstacles was to used bio-fertilizers, one of which was the Bradyrhizobium japonicum-Mycorrhiza. In agroforestry systems, the problem is the shade of a tree / stand. Therefore, need to looked up what percentage of the soybean crop was able to maintained production when grownth under the stands. This study aimed to test the tolerance of Bradyrhizobium japonicum-Mycorrhiza on some level of shade on the growth and yield of soybean. The research was conducted at the Green House Mrs. Dr. Ir. Saidatul Idiyah, MP Pondok Indah Bestari Malang from March to August 2013. The research design used was a randomized block design (RBD). The study consisted of 2 factors with 3 replications, namely: the main plot: shade (without shade, shade paranet 1 ply, 2 ply paranet and shade), subplot: Bradyrhizobium japonicum-Mycorrhizae dose (Bradyrhizobium japonicum - without Mycorrhiza, Bradyrhizobium japonicum-1 Mycorrhizae Tablets, Bradyrhizobium japonicum - 2 Tablets Mycorrhizae, and Bradyrhizobium japonicum - 3 Tablet Mycorrhizae). The parameters observed were: plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, chlorophyll amount, number of nodules, biomass plants (roots, stems, leaves), number of pods, number of empty pods, total number of pods, 100 seed dry weight, dry weight pods, and total dry weight of seeds. The results showed there was an interaction between Bradyrhizobium japonicum-dose Mycorrhizae with shade levels on growth and yield of soybean plants, at all levels of the higher doses shade mycorrhizal soybean growth and yield increasing. Giving Bradyrhizobium japonicum-3 tablet Mycorrhizae can increase the growth and yield of soybean. Soybean plants can grow and produce well to shade 26.6% (1 layer paranet).
