In 2005, the level of soy consumption is 8,10 kg/capita/years with production of 808.353 ton, so that it has necessary to import of soy around 1,20 million/years. The impor of soy at 2007 to reach 1,30 million ton because soy production in domestic is decreased become 608.262 ton (Ginting, 2009). The effort to increasing of soy production by done with areal extension (extensification) and increasing of productivity (intensification). The increasing of productivity (intensification) of soy can do with modified of plant with mutation with use concentration of colchicine. This research is purpose to know the respond of some soy varieties to concentration in giving colchicine.&#xD; The result of this research is showed between soy varieties with concentration in giving colchicine can happened to high of plant (ages 31 dap) and the number of branch (ages 31 dap). The combination of treatment V1C2 (variety of Detam-1 with concentration in giving colchicine 300 ppm) is the best combination. Separately, the soy varieties get influence at all perception variable. The concentration treatment in giving colchicine not yet increase of growth and productivity of soy, but concentration in giving colchicine 300 ppm have been able to duble of number in chromosome (2n = 73) more than those with not giving colchicine (2n = 40).</description><date>2013</date><type>Thesis:Thesis</type><type>PeerReview:NonPeerReviewed</type><identifier> Setyowati, Yuliana (2013) Respon Beberapa Varietas Kedelai (Glycine max L.)
