- The objective of this research were to determine the response of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) to the application of two types of organic fertilizers at various doses. The experiments were conducted in the village of Tulungrejo Distric of Batu with altitude 1300 meters above sea level. Factorial experiment with 2 factors and placement of treatment using Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The first factor is the type of organic matter to the two stage namely chicken manure and compost vegetables. The second factor is the dose of organic matter with 3 standards, namely 10, 20 and 30 ton / ha. Spacing between plants used 70x25. The results showed that the interaction between the type of organic fertilizer with organic fertilizer contained in the observation leaf dry weight per plant age 55 HST with the kind of chicken manure at a dose of 10, 20, and 30 t / ha and manure compost with a dose of 30 t / ha more better than the treatment of organic vegetable compost with doses of 10 and 20 t / ha. Types of organic fertilizer effect on all observed variables except stover dry weight per plant, root diameter per plant and the number of tubers per plant. Treatment types of chicken manure and plant growth responds better results than other types of vegetable compost organic fertilizer dosage effect on all observed variables except the number of tubers per plant. The treatment dose of organic fertilizer 20 and 30 t / ha gives a growth response and better results than the treatment of organic manure 10 t / ha.
