- Almost all societies utilize snaps, ranging from the housewives who need a small amount to the processing industry that requires a large amounts and sustainable. Besides it consumed in the country, snaps have also been exported. The countries that have frequently been exporting snaps from Indonesia are Singapore, Hongkong, Australia, Malaysia and the United Kingdom. Exported form is varies, they are fresh peas, cooled or frozen, there are also in dried bean. Considering that the snaps are needed for Indonesian and overseas people, just imagine the amount produced of snaps is needed. Snaps price sometimes have up and down, does it run simultaneously or not in the Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market which is a traditional market? Uncertain price fluctuatuions in snaps commodity based on that traditional market information became a phenomenon that is quite interesting to study in Merjosari and Oro-oro Doro Market. Therefore, the researcher is interesting to this study, thus making the researcher conducts the thesis which entitled “Horizontal Market Integration of Snaps Commodity (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) Between Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market.” Based on that background, the problems that need to be studied in the research is about the horizontal market integration of snaps commodity (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) between Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market are: 1.Mow can the price fluctuation happened to snaps commodity (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market? 2.How is the price mechanism to market level that is same between Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market, does it run simultaneously or not? Due to the core problem so that the goals of research are: 1.To know the price fluctuation that happaned to the snaps commodity (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market. 2.To know about the simultaneity price of snaps commodity (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market. The research is done deliberately in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market. Sampling was done with Accidental Sampling, that is by asking directly to the snaps merchants that have been randomly selected with a fixed respondents, there were 12 respondents for each Market in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market for 15 days once in a day. To find the price fluctuation that happened to snaps commodity (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market by using descriptive analysis. To know the simultaneity price of snaps commodity (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market by core problem. Based on this research, the result is snaps price fluctuations in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo market always changing every day. Snaps prices in Merjosari and Oro-Oro Dowo market was rose up because the snaps was distributed late so that the snaps amount that owned by the snaps merchant was slightly, causing the supply of snaps just a bit, whereas many requests, consequently the snaps prices was rose up. The price steped down in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo market because amount of the snaps was a lot causing many requests. If the snaps request is bitter from snaps amount that is offered so that the snaps price falls down. The result by using correlation formula produce the horizontal integration 0,99 that is mean the changing of price in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market is simultaneously. With r= 0,8 until 1 that is mean snaps price in Merjosari and Oro-oro Dowo Market runs simultaneously. Thus snaps price in Merjosari rise up and in Oro-oro Dowo too. And otherwise, snaps price in Oro-oro Dowo falls down, in Merjosari too.
