  • This study aims to determine applications bioaktivator concentration on the decomposition of compost materials of different composition, knowing the content contained in the compost produced, and suitability for pakcoy mustard plants. The study was conducted in the village Tegalgondo, Karangploso District, Malang Regency (± 540 m asl) from October 2011 until January 2012 at the Screen Hause. The research used Randomized Design (RGD) are arranged in a factorial with two factors. Factor I, the composition of the compost (K) consists K1. 55% forage + 30% goat manure + 15% bran, K2. 60% forage + 30% + goat manure 10%, sawdust, and K3. 65% forage + 30% goat manure + 5% bran: sawdust. Whereas Factor II, Concentration bioaktivator (U) consists U1. 0.5 ml/l, U2. 1 ml/l, and U3. 1.25 ml/l. Resulting in nine treatment combinations. This treatment was repeated 3 times with a population of plants of each treatment were 5 and thus require 135 plant samples. Observations Compost as compost temperature made every day in the morning (08:00), noon (12:00), afternoon (16:00) for 28 days, while the content of compost, and compost heavy was done when the compost has matured. Observations of plants begins at age 7 days after planting (DAP), with intervals of 7 days in non-destructive and destructive. Non-destructive parameters include: number of leaves (pieces) per plant, and leaf area (cm2) per plant, and destructively observations include: dry weight (g) per plant. He results showed that there are very real interaction of the content of compost and heavy compost. K3U3 combined treatment compost material composition 65% forage: 30% goat manure: 5% bran sawdust: the concentration of bioaktivator 1.25 ml/l) better than other treatment combinations. On a combination of these treatments are organic nutrients (C/N ratio of compost 13.39, nitrogen total 2.97%, phosphorus 1.39%, and kalium 3.62%) is better for growth pakcoy mustard (Brassica rapa chinensis L.). Composting trials on mustard plant interactions in the sense that there pakcoy (tangible and very real) on the growth of mustard plants pakcoy, with interaction treatment of the relatively best K3U3.
