  • Jatropha plant research conducted by balittas have found some genotypes of the NTB, NTT, East Java, Central Java and Lampung. There are currently no superior jatropha varieties released to farmers, so farmers do not dare to do development or planting jatropha because there is limited information superior jatropha and effective method in the development of the jatropha. Previous research aimed at in the search for superior fence distances have found some plants jatropha. Some numbers on the tested plants and planted in the garden village of Oro-oro Pule consists of twenty numbers Jatropha plants, and information and further analysis of the strength of any number of these plants both in terms of productivity and growth is needed, so expected to obtain improved varieties. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the differences in growth and productivity of twenty plant jatropha (Jatropha curcas L.). The research was conducted at the experimental orchard located in the village of Oro-oro Pule with altitude 300 meters above sea level, in the Kejayan District, Pasuruan, East Java. This study began in February 2011 to July 2011. The study design used in this research is Random Design Group (RGD), with 20 treatment levels and each level are grouped into 3 treatment. This study shows twenty plant jatropha (Jatropha curcas L.), which resulted in a noticeable difference to the growth of Jatropha curcas (plant height, stem diameter and total of leaves), but the treatment did not influence the difference in the number of primary newborn. Based on twenty numbers of Jatropha plant (Jatropha curcas L.) which has the highest growth in number of plants is 82 (height of plant); plant number 5, 100 (trunk diameter of plant) and plant number 88 (total of leaves). In addition, Twenty numbers jatropha plant (Jatropha curcas L.) resulted in a noticeable difference to the productivity of Jatropha (total of fruit bunches, total of fruits and seed dry weight). Based on twenty numbers of Jatropha plant (Jatropha curcas L.) which has the highest productivity is the number of plants 82, 86 (total of fruit bunches); plant number 86 (total of fruits) and plant numbers 24, 81, 82, 86, 100 (weight dry seeds).
