Recently, national soybean production was decreasing, so the government had to import soybean in order to fulfill the demand of soybean which was increasing continuously while growth of population. Then, the purposes of this study were: 1) to know the supply and demand of local soybean in Indonesia since ordebaru period until reformation period. 2) To know the national soybean policy since ordebaru period until reformation period. 3) To figure out the supply and demand of soybean. This study used the time series data since 1970th until 2013th. The data was collected from literature of study, BPS, FAO, World Bank, data and information center of agriculture and PSE. The research design of this study is descriptive research design and least square. Descriptive analysis was used to describe the supply and demand of soybean since 1970th until 2013th and national soybean policy. Then, least square analysis was used to forecast the supply and demand of soybean to 2020th. The result of this study showed the supply and demand of national soybean got strongly fluctuation,yet the volume and value of import soybean was increasing continuously. In 2014-2020 the supply of national soybean could forecast decline in 3.03% per years, yet the demand of soybean, and also the volume and value of import soybean will increase with rate 1.48% per year, 3.15% per year and 5.03% per year.
