  • There are several things caused students felt uncomfortable when teaching and learning activity existed, one of them learning model used in teaching and learning activity. Moreover facing difficult study like mathematics. Nowadays, in school, applied various learning model used to increase children creativity and made children more active in teaching and learning, while in homeschooling, there was only parents and children so that they designed themselves how the learning model used. Research titled "Math Learning Model in Homeschooling Malang City took location in Homeschooling in Malang City aimed to describe math learning model for Junior High School Students in Homeschooling Community of Malang City and describe supporting and inhibiting factors. The research done was qualitative descriptive. Subject in this research was students in homeschooling activity (Junior High School Level) and tutor for Junior High School students. Variables used in this research was mathematics learning model and supporting and inhibiting factors. Instrument used was interview guide. Data analysis used was qualitative descriptive analysis to describe in detail math learning model used in homeschooling community. Data checking technique used was triangulation with technique used source and using method. Result showed that math learning model used in homeschooling community of Malang City for Junior High School was independent learning model. One of the major supporting factor was students desire. While one of the major inhibiting factor was students? lack of discipline who started not concentrating on the progress they made.
