This study entitled "Analysis of Financial Performance Before and After Acquisition of Shares of PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk. The purpose of this study is to assess the financial performance PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk conducted before and after the acquisition by PT Philip Morris Indonesia became good or otherwise. Analysis tools used in this research is the analysis of financial ratios include liquidity ratios, solvency, profitability, and activity. The results of the calculation of financial ratios indicate that financial performance PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk after the acquisition of the stock has increased or better when viewed from solvency ratios, profitability, and activity. But seen from the liquidity ratio decreased. Advice for investors is expected to be a material consideration or assessment for investors in making investment decisions so that the measures taken so that investors are not wrong in determining which companies are selected to invest. Then for the next researcher to observe the expected financial performance has been achieved and the company after the acquisition is expected to examine other research objects also make acquisitions, and the use of financial performance analysis to another, subsequent research results are more developed.
