- The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of financing in Islamic banking in Indonesia by the method of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Banking efficiency in this study was analyzed by Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Determination of input and output variables using the intermediation approach, because this approach is best suited to function as a stand-alone bank financial intermediation institutions. The input variable used is total deposits. Output variable is total financing. The samples in this study were 11 Islamic banks. Result of analysis using the DEA indicates that the BUS had 100% efficiency rate is Bank Panin Syariah during the study period. Decrease in the level of efficiency in input variables total deposits occur in all inefficient Islamic banks during the study period. Limitation in this study is less detailed research data such as the notes to the financial statements of Islamic banks.
