- The research goal is to find empirical evidence of the ability of financial performance in predicting earnings growth of textile companies listed on stock exchanges Indonesia. Population used in this study are listed that textile company in Indonesia Stock Exchange, with the study period 2004 to 2010 as many as 16 companies, while five companies made an object of the study using purposive sampling method. data analysis using classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing (f test, t test and coefficient of determination). These results indicate the simultaneous financial ratios have a significant variable in predicting profit growth for 0000 with significant levels of <0.05. partial debt ratio and net profit margins have a significant effect in predicting earnings growth. While the current ratio, debt to equity ratio, inventory turnover, total asset turnover, return on equity and dividend payout ratio has no significant effect in predicting earnings growth over the study period.
