- The author's purpose for doing the research was to evaluate internal control systems (SPI) to the SMS Banking service at PT. Bank Jatim Malang. Analysis of the data used is a qualitative data analysis techniques to actualize the data obtained, then the data is analyzed according to the symptoms of the object under study with interpret accordance with existing theory and data analysis used is descriptive analysis, the analytical methods are described the condition which occurs in real accounting information systems SMS Banking at PT. Bank jatim by analyzing the 5 components of the accounting information system that is, people who operate the system SMS Banking, SMS Banking procedures, data about business processes of the form or document, which used SMS Banking Application, and information technology infrastructure that is used. The results of the analysis of five components of the AIS is applied in PT. Bank Jatim Malang in doing the SMS Banking service is not good. This happens dikomponen people who operate the system because of lack of training activities conducted by the Bank of East Java. Second, is located in the data component of the business process as seen from the figure SMS Banking application form which did not include the serial number and identification number printed on each form. Third, the application or software component that is used for SMS Banking is not efficient.
