  • The study aims to describe the accountability and transparency of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in 15 villages of Ponggok district government by using indicators of accountability and transparency that have been determined. The type of research conducted was descriptive research. The objects of research were villages in the sub-district of Ponggok. The type of data used in the study was a primary and a secondary data. The primary data obtained from the interview result related to the accountability and transparency of the ADD field executor team. The secondary data was obtained from the sub-district bureau in the form of LPJ ADD and the supporting documents. The analysis showed that the accountability and transparency of Village Fund Allocation in Ponggok sub-district on 2013, the average gained indicator index percentage around 76%-100% out of 15 villages on Ponggok subdistrict, which means its accountability was already fulfilled in managing and using ADD. Out of 6 transparency indicators, there were 13 villages obtained indicator index percentage around 26%-50% which showed it was less transparency. Meanwhile, 2 other villages obtained 51%-75% which means that those 2 villages were transparent enough in managing and using Village Fund Allocation. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the management and the use of Village Fund Allocation in Ponggok sub-district has been accountable but less transparent.
