- This research conducting in September 2008 up to finishing, to collect damage data and data of expense of from critical component at machine Pakcing at UD. Putra Food Mandiri. Target conducting of this research to determine time interval replacement of component of V-belt as preventive effort of damage at machine of Packing. This Replacement is conducted by considering the expense of optimal replacement with reliability storey;level above 70% (> 0,7). Model utilized to determine time interval replacement of component in this research is model of Age Replacement with minimasi ktiteria of[is expense of. In this method of replacement of component conducted by specifying again next replacement time interval as according to international which have been conducted previously if happened damage. With applying of model of age replacement, determination of international anti critical component which proposed applicable at company utilize to degrade the expense of replacement of component. With this model have in determining international anti to component of V-belt that is 23 day with machine reliability storey;level equal to 0.75, so that in a period of period of year 2008-2009 there are cost-saving equal to Rp 15.797.630,- with long C(Tp) Rp 19.499.900,- and new C(Tp) Rp 3.702.270,-
