- Based on these results Perputran working capital is an important factor in the company to see kemmpuan tertanm working capital in the current assets to support the operational activity of the company. One way to measure the velocity of the working mode can use the cash turnover, turnover perputran receivables and inventories. The use of working capital that can increase the profitability of the company. Profitability of companies in this study can be measured using Return on Assets ( ROA ). The purpose of this study is to investigate and provide evidence of the influence Danya working capital on profitability, both simutan and partial. This study uses research subjects retai companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX ). Sampling in this study using purposive sampling. The design used in this study was largely associative research, the research aims to determine or influence the relationship between two or more variables. Sources of research data in the form of documentation. The analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneous, working capital turnover consisting of cash, accounts receivable and inventory significant effect on profitability ( ROA ) in the retail company listed on the Stock Exchange in the year 2008-20012. Effect of partial cash and inventory turnover on profitability ( ROA ) had no significant effect on profitability ( ROA ) in the retail company listed on the Stock Exchange. Effect of inventory turnover and partially significant effect on profitability ( ROA ) in the retail company listed on the Stock Exchange. Suggested that subsequent research can increase the number of observations over a period of 5 ( five ) years or apply to the types of companies other than the company's retail.
