- This study is a case study on 4 districts in madura island. Namely sumenep, pamekasan, sampang, and bangkalan districts. The tittle is “ an analysis of sectoral economic potensial on 4 districts in madura island ”. This study purpose to find out the growth, contribution, and beneficial sector in each districts in madura island. The data was secondary data taken from BPS ( statistical center body ) In each districts in year of 20042007. the analysis tool use location quotient ( LQ ) to find out economic, growth, contribution, and benefit in each districts. This, concluded the economic, growth, contribution, and benefit sector in 4 districts in madura island considered to be dominated by agricultural sector.
