  • Muara Enim District is required to provide parking facilities that can accommodate vehicles that require a parking space, so as not to disrupt the flow of traffic around him. In the shopping district of Muara Enim regency, the handling of parking issue was divided into several kinds: two-wheeled vehicles and four-wheel vehicles. In which each vehicle has its own land that has been set by the Government of Muara Enim regency. Most of the parking arrangement in Muara Enim district is on the edge of the street (on street parking) and only a small proportion who are not on the edge of the road (off street parking). Parking is one of the aspects that affect the traffic characteristic, therefore parking is a major concern in case of congestion. So the need for alternative solutions to problems that can be used to solve parking problems in the Muara Enim regency. Evaluation of parking data using the formula Suwardjoko warpani parking capacity, a formula index and turn over parking (parking turnover rate) of the Directorate General of Land Transportation. While the method used in this study refers to the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (IHCM) 1997, the subject of road performance.
