Adjustment is an important factor in communicating and interacting with their social environment. There are several things that cause a person difficult to make relationships with others, one of the underlying factors include differences in social status, social status where they can inhibit the process of social relationships, for example in children who lived in an orphanage. This research is a qualitative study aimed to determine the general picture of children's self-adjustment of personal and social environment and research methods used in this research is interview and observation methods, the number of subjects used in this study is one child, which is the subject of meeting criteria for a sample of this research. The results showed that personal adjustment subjects experienced little difficulty because the subject has not been able to accept his condition, conditions of social status makes the subject personal adjustment which affects social adjustment.&#xD; Treatment applied by researchers to improve social relations is the subject of treatment that aims to make the subject believe in yourself into a subject that involves joint activities with other students, make the subject feel comfortable with other students.
