Civil engineering (General)</subject><description>The phenomenon of garbage is a problem that can not be ignored because of rubbish mampunyai damage and pollute the nature of environments, therefore the waste problem must be resolved as quickly as possible so that future does not cause problems. Handling waste in end disposal place (TPA) must be solved by the method of sanitary landfills, because this method can minimize the negative impact of waste on the environment. Batu city landfill that has a land area of 6 ha located in the village junrejo district tlekung sanitary landfill method of dealing with existing problems Din garbage, but land use for processing waste at the landfill is not maximized, so the age of the landfill to be shorter than it should. Therefore, the landfill should be planned with the aim of returning to the trash bin capacity and the age of the landfill. From the results of the study obtained data that the amount of garbage into the landfill every day Tlekung a 18 m3/hari, and dumped into the cell after going through the process of 3R (recaycle, reduce, reuse) of 6.3 m3/hari, then returned to the tool dipadatan 5 times as much weight lindasan to decrease the volume of waste by 60% of the initial waste volume. From the&#xD; calculation results obtained by the maximum bin capacity of the old cells after adding the pyramid method of garbage 25,185 m3, and the age of the landfill use is 27.38 years. While the results obtained re planning a maximum bin capacity of the larger cell of 46,281.84 m3.
