- Title : “Analisys of the Value For Money For Measuring Financial Performance Government of Malang City”. The purpose of this study was to measure the financial performance of Malang City Government through Value For Money. Analysis technique used to measure the financial performance of the Regional Government of Malang City through the method of Value For Money, namely by calculating the ratio of effectiveness, efficiency ratio, and the ratio of the economy. Based on the calculation of value for money analysis, the average value over three years for effectiveness ratio is 104.55%, this is good because in 2006 the income is greater than realization. Then the average efficiency ratio is 4.46, on revenue of Malang City Government area said to be good, because each year from 2006 to 2008 the Government of Malang City could increase its revenue realization. The average score on the economic ratio is 95.64%, the calculation of the ratio of the economy had shown good results, because in 2006 the highest percentage value and the amount spent is not too big. The smaller the amount spent the better.
