- Kawin Kontrak is a romance film that release at the beginning of 2008 by MVP Pictures which directed by Ody C. Harahap. Kawin Kontrak didn’t suffer a loss to express the senses of love even though being slighty varied of comedy. This film told about the adventures of three teenegers who has been graduated from Senior High School for feed their libidos without risk. Either is a Contracted Marriage (Kawin Kontrak). The Question of this research is what the meaning of love sense at Kawin Kontrak which included in Drama Comedy Film genre with the purpose to describe the many signs in Kawin Kontrak so that can acquired the meaning of love senses at Kawin Kontrak which directed by Ody C. Harahap. Rapproachement of this research is qualitative approach with semiotic analysis which presented by Roland Barthes. The goal of this research is not only to discover the meaning at dennotative grade, but at the second level also which recognize by connotative grade. Focus of the research is scenes at the film which regarded can described the meaning of love senses. Dennotative and Connotative grades which can be analyzed is enclose of setting, casting, angle, and caption. In this reseach analyst have choose 9 scenes for 110 scenes, that is : Scene 21, Scene 38, Scene 41, Scene 47, Scene 81, Scene 82, Scene 93, Scene 100 Continuity Scene 101, Scene 110 . From the signs which have been described can be gained such as: love is powerfull base all at once also as protector in human life, love that tied together between man and woman needs sacrificing to designate how big that senses, love can’t be coerced, the nature love is love that not influence by others, and love is privacy that can’t forced and obliged to tended. Based on data analysis there is condluded that love explained as an act which did by some one to others in honest, trust, and deliver him self with purposes to give notice, affection, and protection.
