- ISN PT (Persero) Patal Lawang is one company engaged in spinning. Company incorporated in early 1966 was also experiencing problems with product quality. From the observations made with the aim of knowing the type and species identification biggest flaw is a priority for improvement. In order to choose the best alternative and implement improvements in each of the CTQ and calculate DPMO value after implementation, found that there are several problems that companies have a problem about the quality of yarn that does not fit the quality standard that has been desired by consumers., This is evidenced by the decrease demand for products produced yarn Lawang PT ISN units by 10%. To solve this problem otherwise the ISN (Persero) Patal Lawang to improve quality of products by using the concept of yarn that begins with identifying factors that cause variation of defect, the determination of Critical to Quality, measurement and DPMO sigma value, investigate the causes defect by using the Fishbone Diagram then choose the alternative that will be recommended by the FMEA table based on the highest RPN. This study results show that implementation of 2290 and DPMO sigma level to 4.3.
