- Confidence is one aspect of the human psyche is very important to be nurtured and developed. Confidence can arise when the needs are valued and this will grow to appreciate the strength, ability, feeling useful human needs. If this requirement is not met will arise feelings of inferiority, helplessness and despair. Factors supporting self-confidence is a personal ability, social interaction, and self-concept in man. The attitude has played a large role in human life, because if already established in human beings then these attitudes will help determine the ways his behavior towards his object. If someone has a positive attitude on the attitude object, then this means the relationship is with other positive values associated with objects such attitudes, as well as negative attitudes. Attitudes have three components are interrelated components of cognitive, affective and conative. job training is a series of body and soul to obtain a change of behavior as a result of individual experience in interaction with their environment-related cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of attitude on the job training to young people's confidence in a correctional institution. This research use a quantitative approach. Its population is the residents of the LP who have 17-21 years of age. Sampling using a purposive sampling performed in a correctional institution Lowokwaru class I Malang. With a subject as many as 39 people. Analysis technique used is produck moment, with the result r = 0.469 and p value = 0.003 which has a very significant meaning. Thus the hypothesis which says "there is a positive relationship between attitudes on the job training with the confidence young people in correctional institutions." This means that the more positive the attitude of youth in job training the higher the confidence in himself, proven. Based on analysis of data that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a very significant positive relationship between attitudes on the job training with the confidence that there are teenagers in a correctional institution. But there are other influences such as the ability to conduct interpersonal relationships, social interaction, self-concept, parental support, the environment etc., which are not investigated.
