- Mal adjustment behavior is seen as ineffective in dealing with individuals, respond to or implement the demands of physical and social environment as well as sourced from the need itself. Maladjustment can be interpreted as an adjustment to the bad. Maladjustment behavior that looks like skipping school and breaking school rules. In general, adolescence is a time of crisis in the adjustment. Where are they confused about their role in the expected social or rejected, and consequently depressed and stressed that if not resolved will lead to maladjustment behaviors that can be a mental disorder, juvenile delinquency and antisocial. Adolescent adjustment itself bad, especially those accustomed to since childhood, tends to be most unhappy. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the behavior of maladjustment in school and to provide guidance to seek and provide appropriate treatment. This research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this research is interview and observation. The subjects in this study were six high school students who behave maladjustment. From the results of this study can be shown that the factors that influence the behavior of maladjustment is insecurity, pressure and stress, relationships with parents and teachers, home and school environment. From the data obtained, the researchers provide guidance in the form of behavioral counseling. From the results of assistance which made visible a change in the behavior of subjects, where subjects could understand him and be able to control his emotions, so that subjects would try to adjust to the environment without being influenced by friends. In addition, subjects realized his mistake and started to bring confidence to change behavior.
